Pioneer PPF Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. General Warranty Coverage

Pioneer PPF provides a warranty for all series of products, covering the following issues on Paint Protection Film applied to clear-coated vehicle surfaces:

Excessive yellowing caused by UV exposure, dirt, or chemicals.
Bubbling, cracking, and material delamination.
Manufacturing defects that affect the film’s performance.

Important:
This warranty applies only to the affected area of the film and does not extend to the entire installation. Pioneer PPF’s liability is limited to replacing the defective film. Labor costs incurred during installation, removal, or replacement are not covered under this warranty.

2. Installer Responsibilities

Warranty Registration:
- Ensure the customer’s film installation is registered online at http://www.pioneer-ppf.com within 30 days of installation.
- Provide the customer with the Serial Number and Warranty Number to facilitate registration.
Filing Claims:
- All warranty claims must be filed by the original installer. Customers will contact you in case of issues, and it is your responsibility to submit claims to Pioneer PPF.
- Submit all necessary documentation (including the Warranty Certificate, proof of installation, and detailed issue description) to Pioneer PPF for claim processing.
Aftercare Guidance:
- Provide customers with care instructions and emphasize the importance of following maintenance guidelines to preserve the warranty.

3. Conditions of Warranty

The warranty is valid only if the film is registered within 30 days of installation.
Warranty claims must be filed by the installer who performed the original application.

4. Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

Improper installation or failure to follow Pioneer PPF application guidelines.
Scratches, swirl marks, chips, or other physical damage caused by external forces.
Scratches, scuffs, scrapes, chips to the painted surface.
Stains, and scratches.
Edge lifting after 30 days of installation.
Vehicle collisions, accidents, or modifications that alter the vehicle’s surface.
Pre-existing defects in the paint or other surfaces prior to film application.
Neglecting maintenance requirements or using abrasive cleaning tools, chemicals and automatic carwash.
Water spots caused by mineral deposits or other contaminants.
Application of 3rd party ceramic coating and similar products.
Labor costs associated with film removal, reinstallation, or repair.

6. Exclusion of Liability for Damage During Film Removal
Pioneer shall not be responsible for any damage to vehicle paint or surface finishes resulting from the removal of Paint Protection Film (PPF). This includes, but is not limited to, damage affecting factory paint, aftermarket resprays, or surfaces with pre-existing conditions.

7. Maintenance Requirements

To ensure the warranty remains valid:

Advise customers to avoid washing their vehicle for 7 days after installation.
Recommend non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaning solutions for regular maintenance.
Caution customers against high-pressure washers or harsh cleaning chemicals.
Perform carwash regularly.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may void the warranty.

8. Filing a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim:

Confirm the issue falls under warranty coverage (e.g., yellowing, bubbling, cracking, or material failure).
Collect the following information:
- Warranty Certificate and Serial/Warranty Numbers.
- Proof of installation (invoice or receipt).
- Photos and a detailed description of the issue.

Pioneer PPF will verify the claim and work with the installer to resolve the issue. Replacement film for the affected area will be provided after claim approval.

Pioneer Window Tint Film Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Warranty Grant

Pioneer Technology Limited (“Pioneer”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser (“Owner”) that the Lumi Nano-Ceramic Window Film (“Product”), when properly installed on automotive glass by an authorized installer registered with Pioneer, shall be free from defects in material under normal automotive use and service for a period of eight (8) years commencing from the date of installation (the “Warranty Period”).

2. Scope of Coverage

This warranty covers the following manufacturing defects:

Adhesive failure, including peeling, bubbling, or delamination.
Excessive color change or fading not consistent with normal aging.
Cracking or blistering of the film.

The sole remedy under this warranty shall be the provision of replacement Product of equal value. Labor costs, removal, and reinstallation charges are expressly excluded.

3. Conditions of Warranty

This Limited Warranty shall be valid only under the following conditions:
a. The Product must be installed on automotive glass only.
b. Installation must be performed by an installer registered with Pioneer at the time of installation.
c. The installer is required to record and maintain the Product serial number and warranty number associated with each installation, and provide this information to the Owner at the time of sale.
d. The Owner must retain the original sales receipt and installation record, including the Product serial number and warranty number, as proof of purchase.
e. Warranty claims must be submitted through the original installing dealer.

Failure to comply with these conditions shall render this warranty null and void.

4. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

Improper installation, handling, or maintenance.
Product installed on non-automotive glass, defective glass, or surfaces with pre-existing damage.
Damage arising from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, vandalism, or Acts of God.
Scratches, abrasions, or damage caused by foreign objects or improper cleaning methods.
Costs associated with labor, removal, reinstallation, shipping, or incidental or consequential damages.

5. Non-Transferability

This Limited Warranty extends solely to the original Owner of the vehicle at the time of installation and is not transferable to subsequent owners or vehicles.

6. Warranty Claim Procedure

a. The Owner must contact the original installing dealer to initiate a claim.
b. The Owner must present the original receipt and installation record, including the Product’s serial number and warranty number.
c. The installing dealer shall submit all claim documentation to Pioneer for assessment. Pioneer reserves the right to inspect the Product and determine, in its sole discretion, the validity of the claim.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pioneer’s liability under this Limited Warranty is strictly limited to replacement of the Product found to be defective. In no event shall Pioneer be liable for labor costs, removal or reinstallation charges, loss of use, loss of profits, or any other indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

8. Disclaimer

This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Pioneer with respect to the Product. All other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed.
