Pioneer PPF Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. General Warranty Coverage
 

Pioneer PPF provides a warranty for all series of products, covering the following issues on Paint Protection Film applied to clear-coated vehicle surfaces:

  • Excessive yellowing caused by UV exposure, dirt, or chemicals.

  • Bubbling, cracking, and material delamination.

  • Manufacturing defects that affect the film’s performance.

Important:
This warranty applies only to the affected area of the film and does not extend to the entire installation. Pioneer PPF’s liability is limited to replacing the defective film. Labor costs incurred during installation, removal, or replacement are not covered under this warranty.

2. Installer Responsibilities
 

  1. Warranty Registration:

    • Ensure the customer’s film installation is registered online at http://www.pioneer-ppf.com within 30 days of installation.

    • Provide the customer with the Serial Number and Warranty Number to facilitate registration.

  2. Filing Claims:

    • All warranty claims must be filed by the original installer. Customers will contact you in case of issues, and it is your responsibility to submit claims to Pioneer PPF.

    • Submit all necessary documentation (including the Warranty Certificate, proof of installation, and detailed issue description) to Pioneer PPF for claim processing.

  3. Aftercare Guidance:

    • Provide customers with care instructions and emphasize the importance of following maintenance guidelines to preserve the warranty.
       

3. Conditions of Warranty
 

  1. The warranty is valid only if the film is registered within 30 days of installation.

  2. Warranty claims must be filed by the installer who performed the original application.
     

4. Exclusions
 

The warranty does not cover:

  1. Improper installation or failure to follow Pioneer PPF application guidelines.

  2. Scratches, swirl marks, chips, or other physical damage caused by external forces.

  3. Scratches, scuffs, scrapes, chips to the painted surface.

  4. Stains, and scratches.

  5. Edge lifting after 30 days of installation.

  6. Vehicle collisions, accidents, or modifications that alter the vehicle’s surface.

  7. Pre-existing defects in the paint or other surfaces prior to film application.

  8. Neglecting maintenance requirements or using abrasive cleaning tools, chemicals and automatic carwash.

  9. Water spots caused by mineral deposits or other contaminants.

  10. Application of 3rd party ceramic coating and similar products.

  11. Labor costs associated with film removal, reinstallation, or repair.
     

6. Exclusion of Liability for Damage During Film Removal
Pioneer shall not be responsible for any damage to vehicle paint or surface finishes resulting from the removal of Paint Protection Film (PPF). This includes, but is not limited to, damage affecting factory paint, aftermarket resprays, or surfaces with pre-existing conditions.

7. Maintenance Requirements
 

To ensure the warranty remains valid:

  • Advise customers to avoid washing their vehicle for 7 days after installation.

  • Recommend non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaning solutions for regular maintenance.

  • Caution customers against high-pressure washers or harsh cleaning chemicals.

  • Perform carwash regularly.
    Failure to adhere to these guidelines may void the warranty.

     

8. Filing a Warranty Claim
 

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Confirm the issue falls under warranty coverage (e.g., yellowing, bubbling, cracking, or material failure).

  2. Collect the following information:

    • Warranty Certificate and Serial/Warranty Numbers.

    • Proof of installation (invoice or receipt).

    • Photos and a detailed description of the issue.

Pioneer PPF will verify the claim and work with the installer to resolve the issue. Replacement film for the affected area will be provided after claim approval.
